OCTOBER - Descent Legion
Descent Legion is an up and coming 7man team from Rt. 40 Paintball Park in Baltimore, MD. Descent Legion, or DL, as we like to call it was originally created as a farm team for the X-Ball team DESCENT. In the beginning DL was a 5man team playing in small, local tournaments. Eventually, we had too many players so something had to be done. Breaking up was completely out of the question because everyone wanted to keep playing together. Thus, the DESCENT LEGION 7man team was born. DL is made up of players from all over the great state of Maryland and contains players of various paintball backgrounds ranging from college xball to woodsball. We are proudly sponsored by the following paintball companies: PEV'S, DRAXXUS, PROCAPS, Animal Paintball and Rt. 40 Paintball Park. We have also recently purchased our very own NPPL field which we keep at Rt. 40
The main goal of DESCENT LEGION is to have fun while playing paintball. There is a great bond between all of the team members that is pretty much unexplainable. I guess what I'm trying to say is that no matter what, we always have fun. DL also supports giving to charities. Recently, DESCENT LEGION sponsored one of the holes at a charity golf tournament to raise funds for Brain Cancer research. Additionally, we will be joining team TREMOR in their march to find a cure for Parkinson's Disease.

Due to popular demand and a ton of local interest, DESCENT LEGION is actually in the process of expanding to form a 2nd 7man team. This team will also compete in the GPL Series. If you are interested in trying out for DESCENT LEGION or would like to set-up a scrimmage with us please contact a GPL Promoter and we would be more than happy to pass your information along to this upcoming new team.
