Sept Team Spotlight |
FEBRUARY '08 New Jersey Resistance
New Jersey Resistance started as just a put together 3-man young gunz team at the begining of the 2007 season, only weeks before GPL event one. With members spread throughout southern and central New Jersey, who hardly knew eachother, and certainly didn't know how best to work together as a team yet. We had a tough time through the first half of the GPL season, with 8th, 6th, 13th, and 9th place finishes. But we stayed together and didn't give up, after lots of practice together we finally began to get used to one another, and found our core team. We began playing the Capt'n Carl's Paintball League 3-man young gunz and placed 1st in our first event there, followed later by a 2nd and another 1st place finish. And we never looked back, finishing the GPL season strong with two 3rd place finishes. Also grabbing 1st place overall for the 2007 season.
Our unexpected success has inspired us and we cant wait to come back for GPL 2008, we will be playing 5-man young gunz this time around. We would like to thank our sponsor OnPoint Paintball, the GPL for their great series, and all the teams out there that we have competed with at the GPL and CCPL, hope to shoot- I mean see you all on the field again soon.
