FEBRUARY - New York Sundevils
The Team
The New York Sun Devils formed in January 2004 by a handful of friends - Manny Jimenez, Alex Journet, Paul Journet, Leo Girald and Danny Virula. The team was formed as a way to compete in the local Tournaments.
After the success in our debut event we decided to continue to expand the Team with friends and people we knew from the local indoor field. Everyone on this team shares a single passion to win and contributes a unique talent towards that passion. We all come from different walks of life from players who played against the greats of Ground Zero Gold and Black, and NYX to guys who have a natural talent with a paintball marker.
The team has expanded and contracted through out the few years, but the core players remain the same. This Team does not know the word quit and it shows in our standings always in the Top 6 Teams. Our sponsors are responsible for getting us to where we are and they deserve a lot of the credit for pushing us to do it. All of our blood, sweat and tears always payoff and we do it for the love of the sport, respect, loyalty to our sponsors and for all the people who support us.

Alex Journet

4) Actual occupation: Sales.
5) Where and when did you discover paintball? 1993 Survival N.Y., then Highland Park.
6) Who was you biggest influence in paintball? Don't look up to ballers I
shoot them but if I must Manny Jimenez and Russell Kiesche.
